Two different frames and two different looks for medallion framing

In this video, Two shadowboxes are shown to frame the Medallion. The LOVE frame AND the SINGLE Window medallion frame.
Once you have learned how to create the Medallion, there are a variety of ways to display it. The size of the Medallion will determine what frame to use. Change the color of the frame and the mating as the client wishes.
This Shallow Shadow Box is perfect for Medallions. It's a square 15 x 15 in. We used a Free Form or Cloud Medallion in this display, but any medallion may be used.
The Love Frame is done in a horizontal frame but can be made in different designs. In this design, I asked for letters to be cut out based on the size of the medallion and the baby foot. The mating is black, but any color may be chosen. The foot and medallion may also be painted. The client chose this design for their contemporary style home.

It seemed to me at a very early age that my capabilities in anything creative outshone the math and sciences. I guess we are born with certain innate abilities. Creativity was part of everyday life for me.
Why fight what you are called on. At times it was challenging and as you raise your children, priorities take you away from it for a while, but really the creativity was also in what you did with the children. You become a fun mom :) in the process.
Trust in yourself and focus on what you want to do. Your thoughts matter, so don't dwell on what doesn't serve you.
Find a creative path to everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
These frames are just two examples that may be used. However, you may find deep frames in retail stores that may suit your needs. For a deep single edge frame (not ladder style) you will require a mat board for the medallion and a spacer placed on the inside edges to hold up the mat with the glued on medallion/foot. More will be explained in additional videos for this style of framing.
